annie, a survivor of childhood abuse, began doing groups for survivors of sexual abuse in the early 90's in western Washington. After moving to Nampa, Idaho, she founded and directed GET REAL Ministries at Christian Faith Center in 2002. Her vision for GET REAL was to help people become real (authentic) by providing a safe place to deal with issues and struggles in their lives, learn skills to equip them to have healthy, productive relationships, and to be able to be honest about the 'real' self that often gets hidden because of fear.

After moving to Dayton to be with her daughter and family, CBC has opened its doors to the GET REAL Ministry. She is looking forward to getting to know people in the community and helping them become all they can be using LifeSkills classes, one-on-one support, and workshops.

annie also founded and is president/director of Survivors & Friends, a non-profit organization that encourages, provides information and support to survivors of sexual abuse and their loved ones.

She is married to Tim (celebrating 37 years in 2007), has two children, and three grandchildren.
