About Community Bible Church of Dayton, Washington

Our Vision:

Pursuing God with Passion...reproducing it in others.

Our Mission:

To honor and glorify God by growing disciples, abounding with God's fullness, who confidently live and serve God by sharing His love in the world.

Our Passion:

We believe an important aspect of our church is fulfilling Christ's commission to "go and make disciples." A disciple of Jesus pursues a lifelong, obedient, and abounding relationship with Him alone, being transformed into His character, and acting on His invitation to mission and service to family, church, and world.

Our Purpose:

The New Testament defines four primary purposes of the church:
    • Exalt God
    • Edify the Body
    • Equip the Saints
    • Evangelize the Lost

This is why the church exists. As we endear our heart to the purpose of God, we find that we are pursuing the development of three primary relationships:

    • A dynamic relationship with God that brings Him glory and honor.
    • Meaningful relationships with other believers so that the body of Christ may be built up.
    • Caring relationships with non-believers that communicate the love and Good News of Jesus Christ.

The Process:

We understand that discipleship is the intentional and strategic process whereby individuals are challenged, taught, and held accountable to progress through distinct phases of growth toward complete maturing in Christ.

Our Strategy:

  • Discipleship Maturity: Participate in small groups where nurture and accountability provide a safe environment to spiritual maturity.
  • Fellowship: Develop loving relationships to assimilate into the life of the church. Our aim is to study God's word, pray for one another and bring the good news to our friends.
  • Service: use our special gifting to assist the church in building bridges to the unbelieving world and influence them for Christ.
  • Worship: Celebration of praise and worship; Adore God together and promote the unity we share in Christ.
