The team went in August to work with Theuns and Karen Engelbrecht, missionaries that we are connected with and support. While there, they were involved in teaching Old Testament Survey to second year Bible College students, conducting medical outreach, and assisting Karin in the many tasks of organizing and developing evangelism efforts in the Sinazongwe district.
Zambia
Pastor Dewayne and Mike taught and trained eight pastors in the area; Cheryl and Pam taught Bible school to children, Zambia style; Dakota, Micah, Kelsey and Shannon were in charge of youth conferences; and Donnie worked with the women with the assistance of Shannon, Cheryl, Pam & C.J. Ken and C.J. worked with healthcare people, going to the homes to minister to the sick in the villages. Ken also taught how to recognize and treat different types of illnesses.
Uganda
Donnie Henderson ministered to women in remote villages that have had very little contact with Bible teaching and training.
Mexico
The Mexico team built this house for a family! They stayed at a daycare center spent a day with the kids as well as one meal a day. The team did some painting and repair work for the center while there as well. Some of the members also spent a day helping at a clinic in Vicente Guerrero.
